My brother Dylan came up to one night when I was living in San Rafael with his laptop, a Chinese copy of an expensive microphone, and his new M Box from DigiDesign. We had a few beers before we set it up in the living room and an hour and a half later we had these six songs burned to a cd. I had been away from music 4 years by then, but had continued writing some when the feeling struck, and was amazed at how simple things had gotten. We did it quick. One take...warts and all. In fact I totally forgot to include a bridge on one of the tracks. I won't say which one since it's still a good song in my opinion. Here's me and my guitar in the living room and my trying out his new gear. I still play that guitar all the time, but Dylan has moved on to bigger and better interfaces and software bundles.
